Hi, I am Sebastiaan your personal coach. I am convinced that you can be a better version of yourself. I do this through Bootcamp Coaching where I look at all aspects that make you who you are.
I think it is important to be open and honest with you. Honesty with compassion. You have the potential and the ability to manage yourself. That is my starting point. You know what is good for you. However, sometimes you know what to do, but not how to execute it. I am able to help you with this. Here you can read how I do that.
During my coaching sessions, I use humour to put things into perspective. I have a positive attitude which tends to rub off on the people around me. Life is beautiful!
My interests are broad. I am into personal development, stories, art, technology, social media, popular and Japanese culture. Everything that is ‘ different ‘ and ‘ weird ‘ has my attention.
I also have a broad background. I received my master’s degree: Media and culture at the University of Amsterdam with a detour in psychology and the film Academy. I completed a post-master education in the field of art history and worked in secondary education. Currently, I work for the police and have successfully completed my training as a coach. Because I think it is important to coach on a professional level and continually strive towards improving myself I am affiliated with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).
Personal development is my passion. What do you want? What is your desire? I think it is important to help you with this and to provide new insights. This gives me energy and satisfaction. Moreover, I also learn from this. By helping you I feel more human.
In addition, coaching is, as far as I am concerned, a profession of love. I mean universal love, of course; not the infatuation kind. Love for my individuality, my existence and my love for the profession. From a position of love and respect, I can confront you and hold up a mirror.
I facilitate your personal development and am never finished with my own development. My journey has a direction but is without a destination.
